And with home made tapes, you often have gaps in the tape, which it interprets as the end of the tape (no signal), and so it stops recording at that point, so we also "babysit" the process as it's going.Īt this point, no, we (I, anyway) don't have an answer for why it appeared to be recording when it had stopped. The only thing to do is go back, and capture that last half of the tape again, which you may have already done. I would not recommend trying to capture all of it again. I'd go back to about the time where it stopped, and pick up with a second capture.
